Mark R. Osherow is the founding shareholder of Osherow & Associates, P.A., a boutique litigation firm in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Osherow is Board Certified as a Specialist in Business Litigation Law by the Florida Bar. He was recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top 5% of Florida Attorneys, specializing in Business Litigation. Mr. Osherow was recognized as a top "up and comer" by the South Florida Legal Guide for 2005 in the areas of Business Litigation and Products Liability. Mr. Osherow received the "Excellence in Writing Award" from the Florida Bar for his article on the civil theft statute appearing in the Florida Bar Journal in March 2003. he is also being recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine Corporate Counsel Edition scheduled for publication in April 2008, as one of the top practitioners in Business litigation. In addition, Mr. Osherow's firm was recognized as a "Go-To Law Firm" by Corporate Counsel magazine's special edition focusing on the top Corporate law departments at the top 500 financial services companies.
Mr. Osherow received his undergraduate degree in 1985 from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a 1988 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Mr. Osherow is a member of the Florida, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Bars. He concentrates his practice in both the state and federal courts in business litigation matters, employment litigation, products liability, medical negligence and other professional liability claims, insurance coverage and personal injury claims.
In addition to his service as a Director of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association following three years of service as the Chair of the Civil Litigation Committee, Mr. Osherow is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Florida Bar Journal/News. He also serves as an attorney-member of a Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. Mr. Osherow previously served two terms as a member of the Florida Bar's Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law (UPL).
Mr. Osherow is also an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He also served as the Co-Chair of the Annual Fund of the St. Andrews School for the past two years, and has been actively involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations. Mr. Osherow was recognized in November 2004 for his service in the Report to Congress by The Trial Lawyers Care Pro Bono Project to Provide Legal Representation for Victims Before The September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001.

Ms. Alexander is a recent addition to the firm. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and was admitted to the Florida Bar, in 2007. She is a graduate of LaGrange College (B.A., A.A., 1999, Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Alexander obtained her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and received honors from the Pro Bono Honors Program for her work with the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office, Crimes Against Children and Rape Division. Prior to becoming an associate with the firm, Ms. Alexander was a law clerk with the firm for two years. Her areas of concentration are commercial, business and employment litigation, personal injury, insurance claims and real estate disputes.

Alan C. Kauffman concentrates his practice in the area of litigation, a field in which he has been practicing for over 30 years. Prior to his commencing practice in the State of Florida, he was a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 22 years and a senior partner in Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman, a major Philadelphia law firm.
Mr. Kauffman has handled litigation involving stockholder derivative claims, wrongful discharge cases, construction defects, security unsuitability claims, land condemnation, family law, libel, slander, product liability and general personal injury litigation as well as estate and probate litigation. He has also represented various banks in creditor rights litigation. He also served as lead counsel in a successful class action against the Florida Lottery brought by the employees of the Lottery.
He has served as the Federal Receiver and Trustee in Bankruptcy for the Estate of Queen Ltd., which involved the sale of the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth to C.Y. Tung of China. Additionally, he has served as the counsel for the Illinois Central, Louisville & Nashville and Peoria & Eastern Railroads in the Penn Central Reorganization proceedings under Section 77 of the Bankruptcy Act. Furthermore, he has served as a reorganization counsel for the Reading Railroad in its reorganization proceedings.
Further experience in the field of bankruptcy was gained when he served as counsel for the debtor, Robinson & Company, a brokerage firm that went through substantial SEC proceedings and also Chapter 11 proceedings.
Mr. Kauffman has argued cases in various state courts and in United States District Courts in a variety of jurisdictions throughout the Country as well as in various Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Kauffman also served as lobbyist for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. He lobbied the bill through Congress whereby the Philadelphia Stock Exchange became the first Exchange in the entire world to be authorized to trade options on foreign currency.
He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest level attainable, and is listed in Who's Who in American law.
